Setup

Open the command palette, run agent: open settings, add an OpenAI-compatible provider, then enter the Imole connection values.

   Add an OpenAI-compatible provider.

   Set base URL to https://api.imole.app/v1.

   Set the API key to your Imole key.

   Add model ids from the catalog.

   Start a Zed Agent thread and pick the Imole model.

Models: gpt-5.6-luna, gpt-5.6-terra, gpt-5.6-sol

Feature scope

Zed separates model-backed AI features from edit prediction settings. Configure Imole for Agent, inline assistant, commit summaries, and similar model-backed features where the custom provider is accepted.

Testing

Start with gpt-5.6-luna and a small prompt. Move to gpt-5.6-sol with high reasoning for repository edits or gpt-5.6-terra with medium reasoning for broader work.
